Peter Brauer is a talented filmmaker who enjoys the challenge and excitement of creating documentaries. His first documentary of note, Driving Wind, is the story of his three month road trip around the United States. The film conveys the overwhelming beauty of America through the extensive use of time-lapse and other editing techniques. Recently, in a collaborative project with a group of disabled, Mexican healthcare workers, Peter created "Return to Life After Spinal Injury". The film received an achievement award at Superfest XXV and a FREDDIE award in the Special People catagory. Peter is an award winning sound mixer and lighting designer. He has worked on various independent films, and assisted as well as sound mixed on reality TV shows such as; The Cut, Seventeen, and the Apprentice. Peter received a Bachelor's degree in Film & Television from New York University 's Tisch School of the Arts.
